Gearing up...

A week from today, we head out to Miami for The Sparrow remount. Rehearsals have been underway for the past few weeks, and I think we are all excited at the prospect of sharing this beautiful story with Miami audiences.

Finding the right blog format...

Once again, I've decided to change my blog provider.  I know that some blogs just take some practice, that there is a learning curve, but the last one I was working on just wasn't working out for me...thank you for your patience and understanding.  Hopefully, I will be able to stay here for a while.  Welcome!  Again : )

The blizzard...

La semaine dernière, la ville de Chicago a été prise d'assaut par une tempête de neige de 48h...on s'est barricadé, on n'est pas sorti...voici quelques photos.  La ville est encore recouverte de neige, mais les voitures ont retrouvé les routes.  Dommage!  C'était pas mal de pouvoir marcher en plein milieu de la rue.

A snowy day for a photoshoot

Woke up to Chicago covered in snow.  The snowflakes just kept coming, snow, snow, snow.
I had a busy day taking some pictures with the fantastic Erika DuFour, a fellow Frenchy (of the Canadian sort).  She has a wonderfully zen and beautiful studio - a big open space with hardwood floors.  Merci Erika for making me feel at ease, for making me laugh, and for taking all those pictures!

Je cours, je cours...en allant nulle part

Comme vous le savez, j'ai toujours été une grande athlète.  Je n'aime pas les salles de gym pour plein de raisons (écologiques et autres), mais étant à Chicago où il fait actuellement extrêmement froid, j'ai pris mon courage à deux mains et je suis passer à l'acte....pour les 10 prochains jours, je fais désormais partie du club des coureurs rats (les gens qui courent sur des machines, comme les rats sur les roues). Et donc, je cours, je cours, je cours..en regardant les gens par la fenêtre.  Certains regardent la télé en courant, chose complètement impossible pour moi.  Je préfère écouter de la musique bien dynamique et courir en regardant les passants.  Physiquement, je vais nulle part...mais dans ma tête, je voyage, je digère, j'avance.
